I have an client node that keep losing sessions (error 1914). Seems like slow network is the cause but is there anything I can do on the timing to make this better without an overhaul the network (part of it are done by our IT).? If I change the timing, do I change it on the client or the server?
This system is just one server and one client.
I have a NETDIAG dump and here are some relevant (?) excerpt from it:
NetType=TCP/IP
NodeType=15000001 (SCADA=2 TAG30=1000000 WIN=2000000 WNT=4000000 W95=8000000)
NCB Turnaround Time: 0
Max Turnaround Time: 25194
I also tried a file transfer and it's very slow at about 60 kB/sec but I understand that iFix can even operate on modem speed so this may not be a problem?
Also, in one of the KB it said not to nade SCADA or View nade as "FIX" and our SCADA node is named just that. Is that a huge issue?
