A client of mine had to replace a computer due to a hard drive failure. It was running Windows XP and Proficy Machine Edition View. We installed Machine Edition and set the IP address on the replacement computer. We can ping the IP address but when we try to download and start the View runtime on it, the Machine Edition development system fails to connect and gives an error code 6104. The Machine Edition development system is on a computer running XP while the replacement computer is running Windows 7. Machine Edition version is 7.0
