Migrate an 3.5 Ifix application to Ifix 5.5

Hello,

I have a couple of 3.5 Ifix applications that I need to convert to Ifix 5.5. Up 'till now, the only way I found effective is to install Ifix 3.5 on a VM, restore the application, then install Ifix 5.5 over the previous installation and finally open it and proceed with the Resolve Files command.

This procedure works fine, but the problem with that is, if I need to convert another application, I have to start over, nem VM, install IFIX 3.5, restore backup, install IFIX 5.5 over previous installation, open app.

I tried to just restore the 3.5 backup in a 5.5 system, it restores fine, but when I configure the SCU to the one in the app and try to open it, I receive the "cannot find dsterror.dll" error, and the app won't start.

Also, I tried to open workspace with another application and, once inside it, try to pass the Resolve Files on the folder that has the 3.5 application and then try to open it, but I receive the same error.

So, my simple question is: What is the standard process to open an application created on the IFIX 3.5 with the IFIX 5.5? Is there any trics?
