Good Day im have this project in cimplicity 8.2 sim1 and my client wants he can previously trend the parameter in the screen.. so i go to the database logger configure the DATA_LOG table to 1 second logging..Run Then go i create a trend screen so i logged user and pass find the data log enter the parameter (sample)TANK and value in xx no value and graph on previous trend.. thanks in advance

RX3i Eng Units setup
Hello,
I am trying to set up my IC695ALG600 engineering units and it isn't going well. This is my first time setting up eng units on any PLC module. I am currently trying to set up a Platinum 385 RTD on one of the channels of the AI module. I have set the hardware up and the module channel is set to have range type of RTD, RTD: RTD 3 wire, Range: Platinum 385, Resistance: 100 ohms, temperature units: Fahrenheit, and default temperature configuration. The default configuration gives low A/D and Eng Units = -328 and high A/D and Eng Units = 1562. When I look at the value of my %AI It gives values on the order of billions. I have tried shifting around the Eng Units and A/D to see how they work but nothing helps. Could anyone please help me out? Also, is there something that gives more information on Eng Units setup?

Possible to copy a single table from user.fxg
Is it possible to copy a single lookup table from the user.FXG on one machine to the user.fxg of a different machine?
One machine is different and doesn't share the same user file as all others, but I now need one of the lookup tables, and its large, and I really dont want to re-create it.

Security in iFix 5.8
Hello everyone!
I want to restrict the access of pictures.
I have two pictures: MENU, with a button which opens TOOLS picture and close MAIN picture.
For this, I have added Security Area in the Property Window of TOOLS.
Of course, if I log as an user who is not allowed to access TOOLS, when I click the button, a message box appears with "access denied" and then the picture closed.
I would like to:
When I click the button, the login window appears, I log in and Ifix open the TOOLS picture and close the other one.
Does anyone have an idea?

my project is to communicate a master 90-30 with port IC67CMM711 and a slave 90-70 with cpu IC693CPU374 using SNP Service,
i Can attached my slave and read from him the bit state are 1; adresse state of read are %R3304=1,
but the adresse destination in my master are Incompatible with adresse slave, THEY have 0,
i would to read 20 Registre %R100 in my slave and copied him to %R3500 in my Master
i have joined also the initialisation in the logic bloc in Master

Handling Events on ActiveX Objects Created at Runtime
Hi,
We have created an .ocx and we are dynamically creating an instance of the control at runtime using the "BuildObject" and "CreateFromProgId" methods.
This works and an instance of the object is created on the screen. We would now like to handle events created from this object, such as click events.
Is this possible in iFIX and if so how do we do it?

Logging NSD tags to Historian?
Hello again message board...
I have a quick question about NSD tags...
Is there a way I can historize a few NSD tags (or SCADASYNC[0] tags)?
I want to log some data about our redundant setup as we are deviating from the "GE Standard" of how our redundant SCADAs are setup and we would like to monitor the activity of a few NSD tags (over a few days time)...
I see I can add NSD tags to a chart, but alas this becomes a real-time chart and I guess I can let it run there for a few days but I thought I would ask if I can send a few tags to Historian before doing so...
Is this possible?

WDE driver converter to IGS driver
Hi,
I am using Woodward Micronet PLC and ifix 5.1 using WDE driver to talk to PLC. Now I want to upgrade ifix server from Windows Xp to Windows 7 OS and replace WDE driver to IGS driver.
Does anyone knows can the latest IGS driver talk to Micronet PLC?
If it can't and I would like to upgrade WDE driver to MBE driver. The main reason is WDE driver does not support Windows 7 64 bit OS, while MBE does.
Am I wrong or not? Any suggestion? :)

PC and Quick Panel displays
Hello everyone!
My new step in iFIX is to create a network between the main PC (the server) and a Quick Panel + 15' (the client).
What I want is to display the project on the panel but without consequences on the PC (i.e the panel doesn't take control of the PC).

Quick panel communication
We are currently using a Quickpanel 6" touchscreens and having problems with the communication. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. We are using Proficy Machine Edition v5.50 Build 6505

webspace and shared network drive problem
I created a shared network drive for users. This disk has been mapped for all users, but network drive always appear offline when browsing from webspace.

Quick panel using modbus TCP/IP
We are using HMI (IC754VGI06STD-MH ,QUICKPANEL VIEW,MODEL;ES0611). This HMI is possible to communicate with Semaphore TBox PLC using modbus TCP/IP protocol.
If it is possible in view plc access driver-View native drivers which one i need to select.

Configuring Historian without Domain
Loading on personal XP notebook for learning purposes. iFix5.5, historian 4.5 loaded, unlimited tags, 100 tags for historian. SCADA already in place, using SIM tags and changing state on/off manually. Trying to configure historian login. Asks for name, password and domain. I am not connected to a server. I do not use a Windows XP login or password. I am connected to a workgroup. Any thoughts on how to get passed this hurdle? I am using the eBooks but no success. Thanks

cIMPLICITY 9.0 - Default User ID Login

I have cimplicity 9.0.
In project I have 3 User ID- administrator, User and Viewer.
When my runtime is running and user ID through which log in is done(Save user name an password optioned is clecked), on restart same user ID is log on.
I want "Viewer" to get start at every start up of system by default.
How can i achieve that functionality?

VM Licensing
Hello all!
We all have a few questions about licensing Proficy products in a virtualized environment.
1.) Is a Local License Server Required? If not, can we license individual VMs through the Proficy License Server? We can configure temporary internet access to our VMs for this procedure.
2.) If a license server is required this is our second question. We will have our redundant SCADA a significant distance away from the primary SCADA and we are concerned with licensing our Proficy products at our "emergency ops" location if a network issue is to happen. Is it possible to use two License Servers for this scenario?
3.) Can a license server run on the same VM as say a SCADA Server VM??

Cimplicity 9.0 heavy file I/O managing points
We recently upgraded two projects from version 8.0 to 9.0
Points searching and management seems to be VERY slow now. Clicking a device on the workbench (to view the device points list) results in minutes of waiting (even when there are less than ten points on the particular device). A simple clie import for a handful of points takes ten minutes. The projects in question do have a lot of points (30k+) and to be fair, point management was not exactly rocket fast before the upgrade. But upgrading to 9.0 took the waiting to a whole new level.
Anyone else experienced/resolved this issue?
