CPE310 EGD configurartion

Hardware configuration CPE310 Rx3i CPU with EBI001 VersaMax ethernet NIU.

I am trying to configure the EGD but for Adapter Name it is showing error in ConsExch1 and ProdExch1 even i put it 0.1 which is CPU slot.

Please give me solution what will be Adapter Name?

PAC8000 communication with 90-70 PLC

Hiii,

I have 2 diffetret system: GE 90-70 GMR dule redundunt system with IC697CMP790 - CPU & IC697CMM742 ETHERNET TCPIP MODULE and PAC8000 PLC.

what is the best possible way to communicate this 2 PLCs.

As per my knowledge 90-70 does not support MODBUS TCP.

Pls suggest options.

Perchance, does anyone have an Excel file using the Add-in that they could please share with me? I now have data and the Add-In is great however I am struggling. I am not asking for someone to create my file but if they have one that I could look over and learn from would be helpful. Thanks

I'm sure this may have been posted before, but I can not seem to find it.

I am currently using the toolchest for linked objects where I create a graphic that inherits a Data Type Structure from used variables that I am deeming my global HMI Variables. When placing the linked object graphic on a panel, I am prompted to create a new variable utilizing the data structure. On the linked object I also have a hidden buttons to open Global PopUp Panels for the specific Data Type.

My question is, How do you go about linking the data type variable referenced on the landed linked object to the PopUp panel?

If this is as clear as mud please let me know.

Getting "System Error &H80040111 (...) in iFix 5.5

Hi all,

I get the "Mircosoft Visual Basic" message

System Error &H8004011 (.2147221231)

within the visual basic code, when I try to execute
normal VBA functions like Ucase(), strLen() within the application.

I some scripts it works and in some it will not work.

I will also get this message, when I try to change the Software within the Workspace.

Even when I create a now window in the application and
Add a Button in the picture and try to define a variable
with "Dim sTest as" after entering the space bar, I will get this message.
I looks like, that "VBA" does not run correct.

I delvelped the software on a window 7 (64bit), where the application
works fine and had to move the application on customer side to Windows 7 (32bit).

Does somebody knows this behavoiur.

I have installed SP1 and several others SIMS (mostly all I found in dec. 2014 for iFix 5.5)

DMDDE start up

We are using ifix 3.5 and I have a spreadsheet I am using to publish some data I am gathering off of a couple SCADA nodes.

Every data change is causing a memory increase in excel and I am able to reduce the impact by slowing the refresh down in the dde window

However I hae found no way of starting dmdde with a refresh of X seconds.
does anyone know of a command line option to set a refresh rate automatically, instead of the 2 second default?

I have GE Fanuc CPU341 application program in Logic Master 90. When open I/O configuration of IC693PCM301 modbule it shows Config Mode - PCM CFG.

I want know how to upload configuration PCM301 module, what is procedure to do that ?

LockScadaSYNC Timeout at the Enhanced Failover (iFix 5.8)

I have a problem whith the Enhanced Failover (iFix 5.8). At the DebugLog in ScadaSyncMonitor (Secundary) I receive many:
LockScadaSYNC Timeout
PDB Sync - RestorePDB LockScadaPDB timed out

Any suggestions?

Send mail through Outlook using BCE

Hi,
I need to send mail through outlook which is configured in the SCADA PC using BCE. I tried below code, but getting error on second line.

Set objOutlook = CreateObject("Outlook. Application")
Set objMail = objOutlook. CreateItem(0)

objMail. To = "recipient@example. com"
objMail. cc = "copyrecipient@example. com"
objMail. Subject = "Test Mail Subject"

Trying to connect to PLC via TCP/IP

We have a vacuum pressure test machine(the PLC), Sentinel I-28 is the name. My options on the machine itself are serial and telnet connections. I have a PC with iFix 5.8 installed. The PLC sends the data in ASCII. If I just want to look at data, I just open up ms-dos and telnet to the machine. But I want to be able to get the data into iFIX, likely using telnet port 23, as that seems to be the only TCP/IP connection.

AB Studio 5000 version 24 has been released with V24 firmware. Is anyone using this with IGS and does it work? We are using some Version 23 firmware and they are working fine.

I have a menu bar across the bottom of a screen that in v5.5 worked fine. Upgraded to 5.8 and this menu bar has now slid down so that I can only see the very top of it. I expected some changes with the 5.8 vector conversion, but how can I pull this thing up?

Using new v5.8 iFix clients, intending to read from iHistorian v4.5 (for now) ... will the iHistorian client from the 5.8 Cd work to read the v4.5 machine?
I believe I have to install that toolbar and its not built into the 5.8 client yet. if so I haven't located it.

NVIDIA Tegra System On Modules which comes with latest Tegra version, minimum 2GB RAM, Quad Core and should support both Windows and Linux Operation Systems. Any suggestions??

Hi All,

I am New user of Ge Fanuc PLC,some body please help.

i Have Ge fanuc series 5 PLC(Ic655) old plc,I want to upload Program from it after that download in another 90-30 series PLC.

Some Body tell Me which steps should i follow,I have PME 8.5 version.
i Don't have Logic Master software.
